Fort Gibson National Cemetery – Gravesite Expansion
Project Overview
Scope & Delivery
The project involved the expansion and enhancement of the Fort Gibson National Cemetery, including the installation of 3,000 pre-placed crypts and 3,035 in-ground cremains sites, along with site and infrastructure improvements.
Work activities included demolition, site preparation, erosion control, excavation, back filling, and grading. Additional improvements included berm construction, establishment of native grass plantings across all disturbed areas, storm drainage upgrades, site utilities, roadway and curb construction and repairs, pedestrian walkway paving, landscaping, irrigation, and the fabrication and installation of site amenities.
