Belle Fountain Ditches Cleanout

The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and plant necessary to perform channel excavation and cleanout operations for the Belle Fountain Ditch in and around Caruthersville, Missouri. Work includes cleaning the main ditch from north of County Road 442 to the confluence of Ditch 2, Ditch 1, and Ditch 6 east of Interstate 55, as well as Ditch 1 into Caruthersville, to restore drainage capacity and improve overall channel performance.

Major work elements include approximately 357,069 cubic yards of channel cleanout excavation, 143 acres of seeding and mulching, and 11.5 miles of clearing and snagging. RKE is self-performing 100% of the contract.
